The Role
As a member of the technical services team, you will report to the chief engineer, electrical and instrumentation.
In this role, you will:
-Provide electrical engineering and design support in preparation of key electrical engineering project documents including drawings, specifications, data sheets, bid and construction documents
-Be responsible for scope development, planning, and capital cost estimating aspects of the project
-Provide technical oversight of the work completed by outside engineering consultants
-Be responsible for ensuring that the design work is done in accordance with Camecos processes, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements
-Be responsible for developing and integrating electrical design standards for use on all major projects and mentoring junior electrical engineers and designers
-Be required to multitask and prioritize including taking initiative to independently drive projects forward
Required:
-Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
-7 to twelve years of progressive experience in field of electrical engineering design in process or mining operations
-A wide knowledge in various aspects of electrical engineering, including high and medium voltage installations, electrical system modelling (ETAP), feasibility studies, detailed design and the application of CSA M421
-Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
-Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and/or with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
-Occasional travel to northern mine site locations and commute to site by aircraft

This is a 12 month term position. You will work a hybrid work schedule with regular presence in the Saskatoon office. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
