Sr. Performance Engineer

Role overview

What you’ll do

  • Ability to evaluate performance test script/code and test results, while providing a clear interpretation of risks and mitigation options to non-technical Partners
  • Expertise in supervising tools that allow for the analysis of system health and potential bottlenecks.
  • Identifying and providing tuning recommendations, for various infrastructure components such as application servers, database servers, and backend systems.
  • Analyze and provide performance analysis report and tuning suggestion using Splunk or data dog tools.
  • Analyzing GC, heap/thread dumps and evaluate the results for tuning.
  • Scripting and UI profiling with help of HTTP Watch, Firebug and Fiddler and google light house.
  • Should be able to tackle Performance issues and analyze Thread dumps, heap dumps, and do database analysis.

What you bring to the role

  • Consistent track record in IT industry with exposure to End-to-End Performance testing methodologies and lifecycle.
  • Solid grasp of various methodologies such as Agile, iterative and waterfall methodologies.
  • Expertise on Salesforce and SAP technologies with insurance confirmed experience.
  • Experience on Performance testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter
  • Knowledge of databases and tuning predominately with SQL and Oracle servers.
  • Development background (effective) with Java, react, groovy or .net. for the scripting.
  • Solid grasp of backend systems like Kafka and mainframes.
  • Experience of test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Experience in mobile performance testing and engineering with Charles proxy, See Test and Appium tools.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation and should have solid grasp on integrating Grafana, influx DB with JMeter.
  • Background in monitoring, profiling, and diagnostics tools such as AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.
  • Hands on experience on APM & Log analysis tools like Dynatrace, Datadog & Splunk.
  • Understanding of Soap/Rest API communication and Microservices.
