We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Visual Merchandising Team as a Sr. Visual Merchandising Manager. You will be successful in this position if you thrive in fast-paced environments, have a strong attention to detail and possess the ability to multi- task. You will be responsible for the development and execution of Visual Merchandising strategies that align with our brand identity and drive sales. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing the in-store experience for our customer and maximizing the visual impact of our products. You will have the opportunity to lead a highly engaged and talented team driven to support the organizational initiatives.

THE DETAILS:

You'll be joining our EQ3 Head Office team at 70 Lexington Park, Winnipeg, MB, in a full-time capacity. This position also supports a remote work arrangement.

  • You'll lead the development and execution of visually engaging signage, seasonal and accessory displays ensuring brand consistency in both retail and wholesale environments.
  • You'll establish the planning framework for the upcoming seasons based on proposed thematic colour palates, brand elevation initiatives and hero products.
  • You'll work closely with Retail leadership to plan for the successful execution of floor changes based on new production and range introduction along with seasonal initiatives.
  • In collaboration with Retail and Marketing leadership, help ensure that Brand Standards are maintained, and the Retail Brand Standards Program (RBSP) is updated as needed.
  • Oversee the integration of new products into retail store displays (upholstery, Casegoods, accessories and lighting).
  • Together with Merchandising and Retail leadership optimize spaces on traffic flow patterns to maximize sales per sq ft.
  • Lead a highly engaged team and inspire creativity of the visual team and visual coordinators in store.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and creativity.
  • Coach, mentor and support professional development through performance management, 1:1 meetings and continuous feedback.
  • Collaborate on various projects that require Visual Merchandising and project management expertise, adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in design
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant merchandising or design experience
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard Visual Merchandising software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUP, and Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
  • A keen eye for design trends in both the furniture and home goods industry. Ability to incorporate these trends while maintain brand integrity.
  • An understanding of fixtures and displays that enhance product presentation, utilizing knowledge of materials, lighting and spatial design to create visually appealing setups.
  • Familiarity with KPIs related to Visual Merchandising
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Able to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of changing deliverables
