Staff Accountant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other reports
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Work closely with clients to gather necessary information for financial reporting
- Utilize accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft) to perform daily tasks
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, within a public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: $60,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
