They appreciate the close attention to their specific needs, like nutrition, and lifestyle management including geriatric care.

Our goal is to practice quality progressive Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in a friendly, supportive environment. We have a special interest in French and English Bulldogs.

A large state of the art Specialty and Emergency Clinic is close by for referral. Further, one of the best Diagnostic and Surgical Neurology Centres in the country is also located in Ottawa.

This Clinic is ideal for you if you are seeking a part-time or full-time veterinary role with a high level of autonomy.

We are a thriving, privately owned 1 ½ small animal veterinary clinic located in the West end of Ottawa.

We are looking for an independent worker who is enthusiastic, passionate, who would like to join our friendly team and is comfortable with all aspects of small animal veterinary care.

Professional Assets we are looking for:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university allowing to practice in Canada, and in Ontario in particular.
• Experience in small animal medicine, especially dogs and cats
• Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.
• Team player with a positive attitude, appreciation for good collaboration with staff
• Ability to problem solve and find innovative solutions for the unexpected.
• Passion for practicing quality veterinary medicine while being attentive to the interests of patients and clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues in and associated with practice, pet parents, and community.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
• Ability to multi-task in stressful situations

• Competitive base salary or contract pay (full-time salary 120’000-150’000 $ per year, full-time 40hours/week) commensurate with experience.
• Shifts of 8 hours with a 1-hour break at lunch time
