Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour (CAD)

Responsibilities:

• Tool Room - This position is responsible for splitting, strip removal, washing, changing lot numbers, closing die and moving to designated location for storage of die. In the event the die requires service, the Utility Operator will pre-stage the tool in the Tool Room for the Tool Maker. Once completed by the Tool Maker, the Utility Operator will close and move the tool to the designated location.
• Press Shop - The Utility Operator is responsible to pre-stage the next job for the Production press which includes the die, fixture, job book, coil and any related equipment/tooling required to run the tool. The Utility Operator will be responsible to load/unload steel and set up dies in the Production press and move bins as required.

Qualifications Required:

• Valid Forklift license (training will be provided and maintained if required)
• Valid Crane license (training will be provided and maintained if required)
• Knowledge of operating presses, preferred
• Equivalent to completion of high school and/or related work experience
• Greater than one (1) year of work-related experiences in manufacturing facility.
