We are looking for a Stock Prep Operations Specialist to join our Operations team at Lake Utopia Paper based in St. George, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Pulp Mill operates efficiently and meets all regulatory requirements. Includes chip handling/screening, digester, refining, and chemical prep areas
- Monitor processes and work methods; ensuring outcomes meet the daily management targets
- Identifying and implementing department needs in terms of standards, training, lockout processes, and improvement opportunities
- Participate in and/or lead area initiatives and projects
- Work with and coordinate maintenance and projects
- Safety and environmental awareness
- Will be willing to support the development of an engaged workforce with a focus on continuous improvement
You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2 year completed diploma in a related field
- Experience in Pulp and Paper Industry considered an asset
- Proven track record in performance and results
- Familiar with computerized operations and administrative systems such as DCS
