The Stores Driver will be responsible for moving aircraft material around the airport, including dropping off parts to aircraft on the gate, dropping off/picking up COMATS from flights and regularly stocking the Ramp Stores area. They will also be responsible for picking up and dropping off aircraft material from local vendors across the Greater Toronto Area.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Ensure aircraft parts are dropped off to mechanics/aircraft on the gate in a timely manner to prevent and minimize delays
- Daily tracking of all incoming and outgoing COMATS (Company Material Shipments) to ensure they are loaded or removed from aircraft on time
- Pick up and drop off aircraft material from local vendors across the GTA
- Ensure Ramp Stores is fully stocked with all necessary inventory on a daily basis
- Maintain a daily delivery and pickup log as well as keeping records for proof of delivery
- Assist the Logistics Coordinator as well as the Aircraft Material Handlers as required
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe and working condition, including refueling, washing, and reporting any maintenance issues
- Actively participating in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

- Must have a Class G driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain Transport Canada Restricted Area Pass (RAIC)
- Must be able to obtain GTAA Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite Programs
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Must be able to lift minimum 70lbs
- Minimum education - High School Diploma
