Description
As the Strategic Coordinator of Corporate Services, you will report to the Director of Corporate Services and be responsible for the following functions: human resources, labour relations, recruitment, onboarding, orientations, and offboarding, payroll and benefit administration, and corporate communications. In addition, you will implement and maintain policies, protocols and processes that align with the organizations mission, values and strategic priorities. You will be a member of the citys management team and contribute to the organization's strategic planning and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have:
To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in a municipal or public sector role. You will need a degree, diploma, or certificate in one or more of the following: Human Resources, Payroll, Public Relations, Business, or a related field. Additionally, you must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a satisfactory criminal record check.
Other expected qualifications include experience with computer-based systems such as Dayforce, Laserfiche, Microsoft 365.
