What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, GFR Category Procurement Strategy, you will lead and manage the development and facilitation of Strategic Sourcing processes for Goods for Resale Categories. This position will provide guidance to business units and leadership on quality decision making, proper sourcing processes, supplier management and category strategy development. You will be integral in maximizing organization value, while providing exceptional customer service and being an innovative and creative business partner for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will facilitate and prepare for strategic sourcing events in areas such as; Food (Centre Store, Fresh), Home and Building Solutions, Ag and Private Label.
  • You will execute and manage strategic sourcing events including data analysis and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  • You will be the expert in Category Strategy Facilitation and will work with the Category Teams to build robust category strategies.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating change management activities through category teams for category strategies and strategic sourcing events.
  • You will foster exceptional relationships with your stakeholders ensuring the developed strategies deliver the maximum lifecycle value and meet business requirements.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • You have a Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering or relevant field.
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply and supplier management (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • You’re familiar with consumer-packaged goods as well as contract execution and supplier compliance.
  • You have certificates in procurement, supply management, inventory management, Lean/Six Sigma, or operational planning. A MBA/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Operations Management is an asset.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
