Water Security Agency is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Infrastructure division as a Structural Engineer located in Regina or Saskatoon, SK
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Assessment, an employee in this job will provide Structural Engineering support in the planning, risk assessment, operation, maintenance, monitoring and assessment, design, construction and rehabilitation of Water Security Agencys water management infrastructure assets.
Duties and responsibilities will primarily focus on the evaluation of structural monitoring data and other required office and field activities to assess the performance, condition and safety of WSAs water control structures; Assist in structural assessments for the rehabilitation and construction activities; Provide engineering support in the development and implementation of Structural Engineering criteria; Assemble Structural Engineering related data and documentation needed for the preparation of emergency response plans and operation, maintenance and surveillance manuals; Assist in providing support to dam operations and maintenance and dam safety activities.
The successful candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline and registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geosciences of Saskatchewan (APEGS). Applicants will be assessed based on relevant experience.
