What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Operate and manage soundboards, ensuring optimal audio quality during recordings and live sessions.
  • Utilize advanced editing skills to enhance audio and video content, maintaining a high standard of production quality.
  • Possess technical skills to operate teleprompters.
  • Execute videography tasks, including camera operation, and capturing compelling visuals.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in project management to coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Possess strong lighting skills to create visually appealing and well-lit studio environments.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to support complex projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve studio capabilities and outputs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to equipment, software, and production processes.
  • Evaluates production workflows.
  • Measures overall studio productivity.
  • Initiates requests for equipment repair, upgrade and/or general maintenance.
  • Interprets and presents the results of analysis, identifies consistency in conclusions and seeks explanations when required.
  • Analyzes, reconciles quantitative data or numerical reports to compile statistical data.
  • Provides creative suggestions to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of processes.
  • Contributes to the design and implementation of new processes.
  • Applies process knowledge to identify and influence long-term improvements for the business.
  • Applies controls and governance to maintain operational effectiveness, integrity in reporting, audit, and all other regulatory compliance.
  • Understands objectives and mission of department and work unit; monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Conserves organizational resources works within approved budget; develops and implements time and/or cost saving measures looks for ways to improve process and quality.

What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum five years industry experience
  • Proven experience in multimedia studio management with a comprehensive skill set in soundboard operation, editing, videography, project management, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for audio and video editing, including, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Davinci Resolve etc.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a collaborative and productive studio environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio and video equipment, lighting setups, and emerging technologies in the multimedia production field.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and industry trends.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate, and interpret information accurately; bilingualism an asset; able to develop and building relationships with internal and external partners / team members; customer service skills including efficiently and effectively responding to inquires or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise.
  • Demonstrated skills including structured project methodology.
