Forklift Operator/Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities Include:
1) Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse or facility.
2) Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment as needed.
3) Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
4) Coordinate general warehouse operations, duties and activities.
5) Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labelling and shipping.
6) Receive and process warehouse stock products, including packing, unloading, labelling, logging and storing.
7) Conducting stock checks, including documentation of warehouse transactions and records, storage of inventory and reporting any discrepancies.
8) Ensure accuracy, quality and quantity of orders for receiving and shipping.
9) Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse working environment.
10) Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, coworkers and clients in-person, online or over the phone.
11) Other tasks as required and as assigned by Managers.
Requirements:
1) Clean criminal record and satisfactory credit history.
2) Maintain all necessary licences and receive all required training for safe operation and maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
3) Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
4) Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
5) Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
6) Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
7) Basic computer skills for communications with clients and coworkers and for inventory tracking and reporting.
8) Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
