Thriving Kids Care Society is currently looking to fill vacancies on their Clubhouse Kids summer team. Clubhouse Kids is a Day Camp program for school-age children. We provide a highly relational program where children can develop their five dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual) while instilling positive Christian values.

Position: Day Camp Staff
Employment Date: Late June to Late August
Locations: Vancouver and Richmond
Employment Status: Contract
Responsibilities
- Assist the team lead in executing the program with their respective age groups
- Set-up and clean-up activities
- Provide active supervision to ensure all children are always accounted for
- Build positive relationships with the children through one-on-one and group interactions. Serve as a positive role model
- Help children navigate conflict within interpersonal relationships. Discipline appropriately as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times
- Create a fun and safe atmosphere for the children
- Encourage children to participate in all activities
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in all manuals
- Carry out end-of-day cleaning responsibilities
- Carry out tasks as assigned
- Help set up and/or clean up pre- and post-camp
Qualifications
- Minimum age to apply is 16-years old
- Prior experience working with children is an asset
- Prior experience with working in a team environment is an asset
- Study in a relevant field is an asset
- Fluent in English. A second language is an asset
- First-aid, High-Five, and FoodSafe certifications are considered assets

Contract
- There are multiple positions available with various start dates in June
- 35-40 hours per week for 8 weeks minimum
- Compensation: $18 - $21/hr depending
