AddressWe are currently recruiting analytical, results-focused post-secondary students for positions in our Calgary Terminal. These positions offer an opportunity to gain experience in the Continuous Improvement department doing project-related work in a fast-paced environment. These positions would work closely with the Business Analysts and other departments while supporting the BA team in creating and executing process improvements. You will gain an understanding of our company and the transportation industry.
Specific Responsibilities would include:
- Providing support to the Business Analyst in:
- Documenting of current processes through participation in and/or facilitating of brainstorming sessions or workshops with stakeholders.
- Supporting analyzing current operational processes and performance trends to determine areas for improvement and raise performance expectations where appropriate.
- Identifying emerging issues that impact work design
- Working with internal customers and CI team to create business improvement plans to accomplish objectives and minimize risks.
- Other projects as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Enrolled in a post-secondary education with a focus on any combination of Business Analysis, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Ability to perform analysis and present information with clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong supportive team player.
- Reliable and highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or as a part of a collaborative team.
