Supervisor Of Facilities

Richmond Public Library is currently recruiting a Supervisor of Facilities who is eager to work in a demanding, high-paced public library environment. Shifts will include weekends.

To ensure success in delivering our service model you have:

• A Building Service Worker Certificate, WHMIS Certification and a considerable knowledge of facility management, principles, practices and procedures, including knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety regulations
• Supervisory experience in a building maintenance environment
• Sound knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
• Superior interpersonal skills that enable you to deal effectively and courteously with the public; strengthen the library’s ability to respond to diverse customer and staff needs; and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing and innovative work environment
• The ability to work independently
• Ability to work weekends
