Your Role & Its Impact
As the Support & Integration Analyst, you will report to the Agile Delivery Manager - Digital Trust & Credentials (DT&C) division. Our mission is to simplify, accelerate, and secure user-centered services across the Province, embodying a 'build once and use many times' philosophy

You'll be a key player in sustaining our established platform, My NS Account, facilitating single-account access to various government digital services. Additionally, you'll contribute to the exploration and planning of a new digital credentials platform aimed at issuing secure, privacy-centric digital versions of currently paper or plastic-issued credentials. Another crucial aspect involves managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services, ensuring secure and trusted data exchanges through certificate issuance to web servers and applications.
You will be supporting the delivery team activities including:
-Explaining the benefits of our platform(s) and the service we provide to the owners of the  applications/services (what we call the relying parties)
 
-Onboarding the relying parties to our platform(s) (i.e. My NS Account)
 
-Guiding the relying parties in their integration to platform, whether internal development teams or their application’s vendors 
 
-Participating in developing and enhancing procedures and processes that help the onboarding of new applications to existing platform(s)
 
-Troubleshooting and assisting application integrations to our platform(s) by providing sound technical solution to their integration problems 
 
-Ensuring effective and efficient availability, deployment, and maintenance of our platform(s)
 
-Understanding the new functionalities of our platform(s) and confirming they are functioning properly
 
-Participating in test activities including, planning, test cases creation and execution
 
-Application development & support for existing and new services/platforms, such as Digital Credentials 
 
-Communication with peer groups to exchange information to ensure that there is mutual understanding of needs and requirements of users
 
-Managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services, issuing and managing digital certificates to web servers and applications.
 
This position deals regularly with external and internal clients, vendors, and consultants from time to time.
 
This role is expected to develop highly effective relationships with management, peers, clients, and operational staff characterized by mutual trust and respect. Effective and efficient communication and time management skills are required for this role.
 
What You Will Be Doing
The
Support & Integration Analyst is a
key point of contact for clients and is responsible for:
-Meeting with client departments to determine their digital identity needs.
 
-Maintaining and monitoring systems to guarantee consistent availability.
 
-Enabling effective support of the clients and the systems that depend on our Platform(s).
 
-Escalating technical issues to other teams, navigating the organization, working with other NSDS teams to find solutions to complex issues, and ensure successful implementation.
 
-Analyzing application functionalities and participating in testing and support. 
 
-Issuing and managing digital certificates to web servers and applications.
 
-Problem solving, analytical thinking, prioritization skills, decision making, ability to manage complex and competing requests, and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
What You Bring To The Table
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience, or graduation from a recognized Information Technology program plus 3 years and six months of experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  
 
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, training, and work experience:
-Understanding of the principles of Digital Identity.
 
-Understanding of the Principles of Public Key Cryptography.
 
-A minimum of 1 year experience with application development particularly in .Net 6 C#, MVC, or Java Spring.
 
-Sufficient experience to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 
-Sufficient experience to demonstrate understanding of new additional functions and translating them to test cases and ensuring proper development.
 
-Well organized, be capable of prioritizing and undertaking high level work under tight deadlines and can exercise sound judgment under pressure.
 
-Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
 
-Interact effectively with and communicate technical concepts to clients, peers, and our leadership team with diverse technical backgrounds.
 
-Being flexible and able to quickly adapt to new technologies. 
Assets
The following are considered assets:
-Experience in using tools such as: Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), OpenSSL, KeyTool, Let’s Encrypt, Azure Key Vault/App Service/APIM.
 
-Experience in SAML & Open ID Connect Protocols and supporting files (SAML Metadata, OIDC Metadata, XML, JWT, JWKS formats).
 
-Experience in automated testing.
 
-Experience in Business Analysis.
 
-Training and/or experience in cyber security.
 
-Experience supporting complex enterprise environments as well as knowledge of the Province’s IT and Cyber Security policies and procedures.  
 
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.
