At Paddle to Stroke, we provide high quality children and adult lessons aimed to teach water safety skills and improve swimming abilities. We would like to invite your experties to join our fast growing team.

If you are passionionate about swimming and teaching, look no further! We are currently seeking a energetic and creative Instructor/Coach who is not shy to help our paddlers achieve their swimming goals.

What you will be responsible for:

• Creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for young and adult paddlers
• Evaluate paddler's swimming ability and adjust lesson plan accordingly - we will train you on our curriculum and levels
• Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool area
• Have a personalized and caring touch with each paddler and their guardian to create a positive experience

What will be required:

• Your 100% engagement and attention to all paddlers of all ages
• Ability to provide private or low-ratio group lessons (specially for paddlers aged 1-5)
• Available for 2-3 lessons per week (3 hours/lesson)
• Current National Lifeguard qualification, Standard First Aid with CPR-C, and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor qualification or equivalent
• Competitive swimming background is an asset
• NCCP qualification is an asset
• 1-2 years of experience teaching swimming

Job Types: Seasonal, Casual, Part-time
Part-time hours: 9 per week

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
