Job description

About us

We are a busy medical clinic currently with 9 GPs and 10 support staff. Experience in the medical field is an asset, but we will train a suitable candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member

- Administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Verify patient insurance information and collect any other necessary fees
- Maintain patient records and update any changes in personal information
- Ensure a clean and organized reception area

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus but not required
