Muskoka, Algonquin Park! Couples Resort, 139 Galeairy Lake Road, Whitney, ON.
JOB Description: Assisting and Working under Manager, Karolina, with other Team workers. Working to keep the Resort and Restaurant Very Clean. You will have a good range of experience with Guests in a Dining Room or Bar or Patio. Includes Serving Dining and Patio Tables, Room Service, including Phones and Delivery. Kitchen Dishes (lots of dishes at a 5-STAR Resort and you will be required to help as well) and Kitchen and Dining Room Cleaning, and if we are slow we can teach you Bar-tending or Kitchen.
Job also includes 2 to 3 afternoon shifts per week of Housekeeping accommodations when busy under Manager; Nancy.
Yearly Pay is $67,000 which includes $33,428 Yearly Salary and including $33571 in Equivalent with Studio Apartment (Sink,Fridge) and Food of 3 meals a day at Staff Kitchen. Expectation is you work 42.5 hours per week, with Shifts ranging from 3 hours to 13 hours. Where Room and Board is already deducted from pay. You will live in your own Private Studio Apartment Accommodation with one double bed. And Gym, Internet, and more at no extra cost.
Net (after all taxes and fees are paid) Take Home Pay Per Year = $27,585 for your car/cell phone/personal debt/savings/fun. Typical and Usually 2 days off per week. Resort is Closed for Christmas.

We have 34 staff here on site, 11 staff commute from within the community. Some new and many here with 20 plus years with us. Several Staff with us on-site for the last 5 years. It was a good year for us as 8 Staff Members returned this past year after a move to another job, they did not plan on returning but they did, which we are all grateful for.

This is a Permanent job and one must be willing to commit, longer is better and preferred..
We can help provide the following:
A) Meals Included 3 meals a day from our Resort Kitchen. Please bring your own glass/plastic meal containers and Coffee/Tea Mugs.
1) Accommodation has 1 Double bed (bring your own sheets pillows and towels and cleaning supplies), has closet and a fridge and sink. Private Shower and Private Washroom.
1B) Accommodation has a 40" LED TV with Free Cable. AirConditioner and Heating.
1D) Will be a NoCharge for care of accommodations, if No extra cleaning required on departure. Please ask Maintenance Manager, Mike, if one wants to hang anything as there may be a $500 fee if not meeting our standards.

3) Free Laundry Machines, bring Laundry detergent.
4) Free Wifi Internet Streaming
5) Free Access to Gym and Billiard Room
6) Free Access to Algonquin Park with Daily Pass from Office.
7) Free use of Canoes, Kayaks, Mtn Bikes, Tennis, Snowshoes, Ice skates (may be limited to time and use by guest use) $10 per session for fishing boats.
8) Free Parking, Free Charging of Electric Vehicle

Restrictions: Drug free for Work. No Children, No Pets, No Smoking nor Vaping nor Incense in Buildings. No Cooking or Heating equipment in Rooms. 3 Smoking areas outside: Behind Laundry, Beside Kitchen, and at Staff Fire pit.
For fun there are 3 areas for Chilling: one at the Gazebo/FirePit, two in the Staff Common TV Area with Sofas and three in the on-site Library. And a new Rec Room for the staff with Table Tennis and Darts.
