Tank Inspector/Wash Bay Attendant

Truck Zone has an opportunity for a Wash Bay Attendant/Tank Inspector to join our Bonnyville Branch location. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience with confined spaces, who is committed to safety, has excellent attention to detail, and is looking for a team environment!

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning and inspecting interior and exterior tank trailers, including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per tank cleaning procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, high temperature power washer, properly and safely.
• Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment in confined space rescue.
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices before, during, and after shift.
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
• General labour duties around shop and yard as required.
• All other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the same or similar role an asset.
• Experience with confined spaces.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Team Player.
