We are looking for a creative, detail oriented, technically minded, highly motivated individual who understands the art of audio technical production and the importance of using sound to bring programming to life.
Position:Technical Board Operator, Bell Media, Newstalk 1010 Toronto
Location: 250 Richmond Street West, Toronto, On.
Job Status: Regular Full Time – Union, Unifor 723M
- Produce and distribute programs for broadcast, affiliates and podcasting
- Work with on-air talent to ensure you are aligned with their needs
- Work closely with Show Producers to execute their vision
- Collaborating with Television Partners
- Actively involved in editorial and production meetings
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Board Operator and producer for a live radio show
- Proven ability to make fast competent decisions under pressure and communicate those decisions effectively
- Excellent audio editing and production skill
- Outstanding team player with an ability to work well independently
- Understanding of social media
- Strong communication skills
- Diploma in radio broadcasting, production or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Previous control room experience with Wide Orbit Automation. Working knowledge of Burli and Lawo Consoles is an asset
- Forward thinking, a creative and open-minded problem solver with experience maximizing the best use of the company's resources
- Excellent writing, communication, computer and organizational skills
