What You Will Do:
Work with ChampionX sales personnel and their customers to solve process issues or improve current treatment programs.
Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
Develop strong relationships with all levels of the sales teams to understand their customer needs and challenges.
Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
Actively sell and support ChampionX innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships.
Support phase separation, heat exchanger health, de-oiling, and production needs within the Oil Sands region
Overnight travel within the Oil Sands sales territory.
Position Details:
Candidate must reside in: Bonnyville or Lloydminster, AB.
This position may require overnight travel.
Work week and shift: Monday – Friday.

Area of responsibility includes Bonnyville or Lloydminster and surrounding areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Chemical Engineering Technology Diploma.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or Chemical Engineering Technology diploma
1+years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
Previous Refinery/Petrochemical experience an asset
Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
Working knowledge of SAGD water treatment, steam generation, production, process, and de-oiling
High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
