Adecco is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer. This is a 1 year on site contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. This role is with one of our government client based in Chalk River. The successful candidate must be eligible for Security Clearance.
The Technical Writer will have the following responsibilities:
The Technical Writer will be tasked with supporting the development and preparation of specific management system documents, and operating policies and procedures;
Working with the Functional Support Managers to identify documents that are required, and/or that require updating or cancellation (voiding), with particular focus on scope of applicability, grading and cascading of requirements;
Establishing guidance and evaluation criteria to assist in prioritizing and sequencing the subsequent activities in the contract;
The overall objective is to develop organizational level documents to ensure that operations are planned and performed in accordance with technical, regulatory, and company requirements;
The Technical Writer will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and revising documents, policies, and procedure as assigned;
Interacting with functional managers to identify documents that require updating/cancellation;
Creating a prioritized revision plan for each functional support area
The Technical Writer must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Must have experience with Management system documentation and operating policy documentation;
Must have experience with researching for document preparation and preparing outlines for documentation;
Must have experience Organizing, writing, editing, reviewing, correcting, and finalizing documentation;
Must have past experience with third party review and prioritizing and sequencing work and creating a prioritized, sequenced plan;
Must be available to travel to job location
Must be eligible to obtain required security clearances or evidence of existing security clearances;
