Position:
The Rural Municipality of Mount Hope No. 279 is seeking a temporary full-time Assistant Administrator. This position reports to the Administrator and provides diverse support to Administration, Public Works, Council, and Ratepayers. This position will be an 18-month term (plus transition time if applicable) to cover a maternity leave. The start date will be negotiable with successful applicant.
Qualifications:
Comprehension of accounting, administrative, and clerical duties.
Proficient with the Microsoft Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
Possess a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Ability to effectively handle correspondence both written and verbally.
Strong interpersonal skills including an overall sense of self-awareness.
Strong organizational, management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with MuniSoft computer software is considered an asset.
Experience in Municipal Administration and/or a Local Government Administration Certificate are considered assets.
