As this is funded by Canada Summer Jobs, you must be a Canadian resident to apply. Also you must have or be able to get housing in Muskoka.
University and College Students: spend the summer guiding visitors to great things to see and do in Muskoka Lakes. May to August. You’ll see more of beautiful Muskoka than ever before. This is a wage subsidized position so you must be a Canadian resident and under 30 (not our rules..). You don’t necessarily have to be going back to school. You like meeting people, can phone to make sure a business is open, read a map and live msking prople happy. It helps if you have a place in Muskoka to live as it’s so hard to rent. Knowledge of social media and basic design skills with Canva good too.

You will greet visitors and help guide them to attractions, answer questions, provide directions and open and close the Muskoka Lakes Visitor Information Centre in Bala. You may work some weekends. You are outgoing and know your way around Muskoka Lakes and Muskoka.
