Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Tow Truck Operator & Facility Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in providing roadside assistance and towing services to stranded or disabled vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to service calls, safely towing vehicles to designated locations, and ensuring the efficient and secure transportation of various types of vehicles. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle assessments, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of each service call.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to service calls and assess the situation.

  • Safely tow and transport vehicles, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

  • Perform vehicle inspections to determine the best towing method and ensure proper hookup.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor.

  • Operate and maintain Tow Trucks and equipment in a safe and effective manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of each service call, including vehicle information and service details.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers to coordinate service activities.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of Tow Trucks and equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning machinery and equipment.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments or tenants and prioritize tasks accordingly.

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.

  • Assist with building renovations, installations, and upgrades as directed by management.

What qualifications are we looking for?

  • Valid commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements.

  • Experience as a Tow Truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.

  • Knowledge of towing equipment and techniques is an asset.

  • Excellent driving record and familiarity with traffic regulations.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

  • Physical fitness and agility to perform towing tasks and handle equipment.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Positive attitude
