Safety First is presently accepting applications for Traffic Control Persons.
We are looking for hard-working, dependable, safety-oriented team players with positive attitudes to join growing our team and help us to build and maintain client relationships through their on site Traffic Control needs.
Responsibilities:
Safely guide the passage of the general public through and around the temporary workplace as well as the safety of all workers on-site.
Follow instructions of TWS and/or on-site foreman.
Ensure safety and efficiency issues are addressed and remedied immediately in the temporary workplace.
Maintain open and professional communication with co-workers.
Report unsafe work situations to the onsite TWS.
30-50 hours per week.
Overtime as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A driver license with a clean driving abstract is an asset but not required.
Protect and promote the interest of Safety First and take actions to satisfy such responsibilities.
Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Overtime Pay for all Sunday work
