Traffic Controller

Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles
- Set up traffic control devices, such as cones and signs, to guide drivers
- Communicate with drivers using hand signals or two-way radios
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed
- Coordinate with other Traffic Controllers to ensure smooth traffic flow
- Report any accidents or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller is preferred but not required
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Skills:
- Ability to pave and build traffic control devices
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as trucks or forklifts is a plus

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
