The Training Manager, Product Technical Sales is responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of Product Technical and sales training programs to support the growth and strategic priorities of the Americas commercial business.

This position is part of the Global Commercial Operations and Enablement team and will be REMOTE and will contribute to developing competencies of a high-functioning commercial organization to drive efficiency, productivity, customer success, and ensure long term shareholder gain.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Manage development of internal training vision in partnership with global Separations and Aftermarket commercial business.
  • Work directly with Sales Management and other stakeholders to continually evaluate and anticipate training needs.
  • Design and develop training curriculum including modules, sessions, materials, and assessments that build sales force knowledge and skills to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Manage the training and learning strategy of assigned regional business and work closely with the Global Sales Training team to align training methods and contents.
  • Determine, consult on, and implement effective training methods in contemporary adult learning (e.g. classroom, virtual, hybrid, self-study module, e-learning module, hard copy materials).

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Masters degree, or long-standing experience, in a science-related field, or Masters degree in Education with recent focus on adult education, training and facilitation.
  • A minimum of four years of commercial experience within a biotechnology (or related) organization,
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrates initiative along with a ‘can do’ attitude,
  • Demonstrated experience with Separations and LC-MS/MS hardware and software technologies,
  • Classroom training experience in front of diverse audiences (tech, sales, marketing….).

Additional skills preferred but not required: 

  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, subject matter experts, and the business unit team to take ideas from concept through implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to multiple, changing priorities and complete within a timely manner. Project Management Certification would be a plus.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 90,000 CAD - 105,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
