Travel Sales Manager

Expedia Cruises Guelph is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Travel (Cruise) Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing office operations in the absence of the owner, as well as playing a crucial role in the development and support of new Vacation Consultants.

Responsibilities:

1. Office Oversight: Manage day-to-day office operations when the owner is away, ensuring a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.

2. Vacation Consultant Development: Support the training, coaching, and job shadowing of new Vacation Consultants to ensure their success and growth within the company.

3. Sales Management: Primarily function as an Expedia Cruises Vacation Consultant, taking on additional Manager responsibilities as required.

4. Availability: Be available 1-2 days a week regularly, and for a full week (4-6 weeks a year) to handle Manager responsibilities during the owner's absence.

5. Independent Contractor: This role is structured as an independent contractor position.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of Travel Agent experience.

- Willingness to obtain TICO Manager/Supervisor certification if required.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

- Passion for the travel industry and cruise sales.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Salary: $150.00-$250.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

• TICO registered Travel Agent: 3 years (required)
