Underground Utilities Workers

Cross Cut Directional Boring Ltd. is seeking experienced, qualified workers. We are looking for career-oriented individuals for long-term employment who would like to grow with us. We are willing to train hard-working and self-motivated individuals. We specialize in the installation of Underground Utilities such as phones, fiber, cable, gas, water, and power. Must have the ability to manage time effectively. Must be self-motivated and be a positive influence on your co-workers. The candidate must be able to solve problems and exercise good judgement. They should have a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.

Duties and Functions, Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment in a safe manner.
• Have safe working habits.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Must be able to work out of town.
• Puts success of team above own interests.
• Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and work overtime as required.

We are growing rapidly and will need to add more experienced personnel to meet our workload.

We are hiring:

• Laborers
• Equipment Operator
• Hydrovac Operator

Additional Requirements:

A valid Class 3 Driver's license is required but a Class 1 is preferred. Must provide a current 5-year drivers abstract and be able to provide 3 years commercial insurance history or letter of experience if located out of province.

Preferred candidate will have experience within the utility construction and maintenance industry. Must have the ability to manage time effectively. Must be self-motivated and be a positive influence on your co-workers. The candidate must be able to solve problems and exercise good judgement. They should have a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
