Position Details
Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement software systems based on project requirements and design
  • Problem solve and find solutions to difficult problems
  • Perform and document findings of unit tests and user tests
  • Manage code base and project repositories
  • Track development tasks to meet project milestones

  • Reports to Lead Developer, START Centre
  • Full-time, casual
  • Remote work may be considered


Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in computer programming or related field
  • 3+ years working with Unity
  • Proven track record of delivering products with Unity and C#
  • Strong understanding of the software development cycle
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented programming
  • Ability to read and understand documentation and implement various SDKs and APIs
  • Functions well in a collaborative team with diverse backgrounds and experience
  • Experience using version control ie. Github
  • Experience with task management tools ie. JIRA, MS Planner
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

  • Experience with systems architecture
  • Experience with VR/AR development
  • Experience optimizing applications for mobile
  • Experience managing data flow across multiple systems ie. Unity to web backend
