- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods locally
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and security
```Requirements```
-2 years Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Salary: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week

- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Charlottetown, PE C1E 3G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Tractor trailer: 2 years (required)
- Long haul: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 1 Licence (required)
- Passport (required)
