STEMCELL Technologies is seeking an experienced senior leader to support our growth in products and services used for the manufacturing of cell & gene therapies and diagnostics! As Vice President, Clinical Programs you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and management of select STEMCELL programs, projects, and initiatives that drive this expansion. With a long-term (5-10 year) vision for the Clinical Programs division, you will champion and influence corporate strategies and tactics to align with company priorities and goals, and be an influential member in GMP product steering committees.
In addition to Clinical Programs, you will also oversee the Business Operations Project Management Office and all functions related to that division. This includes ensuring that good project management practices are being followed and the assignment of project managers to approved projects as required by the department.
This is a high visibility, cross collaborative role that will require you to build strong relationships with other STEMCELL Departments. Additional responsibilities include managing direct reports, a department budget, project budgets, and chairing various internal meetings as required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the cell and gene therapy landscape, including evolving regulations, products, and ancillary materials
- Champion and manage the portfolio of clinical customers and alliances focused on accelerated commercialization of clinical grade products, including the implementation of associated contract milestones and projects
- Lead and/or participate as a member of GMP and clinical-focused steering committees
- Set and achieve division goals created in partnership with STEMCELL's Executive team and key business stakeholders, and translate these goals into actionable and measurable programs and projects
- Manage and maintain a system and process to review, approve, and track departmental projects while ensuring good project management practices are being implemented and followed
- A PhD in Cell Biology of related Life Sciences discipline is required; an MBA is an asset
- Demonstrated track record of success (at least 10 years) in a related senior leadership role with demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic plans (including strong project management skills)
- Strong relationship management skills and experience in building and maintaining connections and influencing change with internal and external key opinion leaders, stakeholders, and partners
- Strong understanding of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance best practices in a biotech business environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and uncertainty

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$163,050.00 - $271,800.00
STEMCELL determines an individual's pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
