The Vice President, IT SCIEX & LSIG, is responsible for establishing and executing the global IT strategy, integrating it with the SCIEX, Molecular Devices, and LSIG business strategy, and delivering all information and technology capabilities required to drive Opco's success.
This position is part of the global Information Technology Team, reporting to the CFO, and will be hybrid to one of Sciex's North American locations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Create and execute the 3-to-5-year IT Strategy, encompassing directives for Policy Deployment, enterprise applications, enterprise architecture and infrastructure, business analytics and data architecture, information security and compliance, IT operations and client services, and project & portfolio management.
- Participate as a member of the Molecular Devices L1 team and adjunct membership in the SCIEX L1 team, briefing L1 teams on how SCIEX and Molecular Devices leverage technology to fulfill business priorities, protect our IP and data, and trends to watch and ignore.
- Provide IT hosting and support services to Danaher Life Sciences, Danaher China Life Sciences, and the LSIG Commercial team.
- Participate in SCIEX and Molecular Devices annual strategic planning, bringing perspectives on how existing technology will enable strategic initiatives and recommending technology investments necessary to move initiatives forward.
- Develop a pipeline of IT leaders from existing IT associates and the Danaher talent funnel.
- Control IT spending by taking ownership of the budget for SCIEX & Molecular Devices
- Ensure compliance objectives are met, and we can respond and succeed in audits and inspections.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 10 years’ experience working in progressive leadership positions
- 7 years’ experience working in DBS or other process improvement methodology
- 5 years’ IT management experience
- Experience communicating with and presenting to C-level executives
- Degree/diploma in a technical or business-related field, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Sciences, Business Administration, or Economics

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 180K to 280K USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
