Vineyard Technician

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to help us maintain 30+ acres of vineyard on an 80-acre Estate just outside of Grand Bend.

This role is fast-paced and primarily outdoors. You will perform a range of general farm labour, and groundskeeping duties and maintenance of vineyard and on-site gardens.

As a member of our team you will work well with others, be creative with excellent problem solving skills and a strong physical work ethic. You will be required to wear PPE appropriate to the task. You will have to work on your own without supervision and manage your time. Experience an asset

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Outdoor maintenance
• Landscaping
• Horticulture; Cleaning crop, Deleafing, Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops shoot positioning, Suckering Tying Vertical farming system
• Weeding
• Harvest crops
• Operation of motorized vehicles,incl lawnmower
• Other duties as required

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Wage $19/hr+ depending on experience. Full time seasonal.
