Vintage Clothing Picker & Reseller

Thriftique is a locally owned vintage & second hand store based in Vancouver. In 2024, we are expanding our scope to online sales! We have a large stock of pre-worn vintage and various popular brands clothing. We are currently looking for 1-2 experienced pickers to work in our facility in New Westminister to select vintage and designer items for our store. You will be picking solely for Thriftique. 50% of your job will be selecting clothing and 50% - at the store creating content on various platforms and making online and in-store sales .

Responsibilities:

• Hand-selecting recycled clothing from our wholesalers
• Quality assurance - checking clothing for flaws, damages, etc (the clothing is mainly second-hand, so this is a regular part of the process)
• Making pictures of products (clothing) and posting them on various websites and platforms
• Assisting Store Manager & Assistant Manager with sales

Requirements:

• You must have a keen knowledge of vintage fashion from various eras and be savvy with vintage street style
• Extremely hard-working, quick learner and motivated
• Comfortable working in a factory environment!
• You should have previous online sales experience on Facebook, Poshmark, eBay or other eCommerce platforms
• Being able to work a 6-8 hour day

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
