Role Overview:
We're in search of a Virtual Production Coordinator who combines strong organizational skills with tech-savviness to meet the dynamic challenges of Virtual Production. This hybrid position allows for remote work, but also demands occasional out-of-province travel to film sets. Candidates should be prepared for extended workdays during peak periods. This role supports the Manitoba local economy and production goals through provincial tax incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Virtual Production (VP) workflows and schedules using monday.com.
- Offer administrative support, ensuring access to project documents.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including capturing and documenting key developments via screenshots in Unreal Engine.
- Keep communication tools like monday.com and Slack updated for team coordination.
- Document and share VP team meeting notes and manage communication across departments as needed.
- Facilitate on-location project needs through occasional out-of-province travel to film sets, ensuring seamless production operations.
- Adapt to various tasks, supporting the VP Lead Coordinator with a flexible approach to project needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- While experience or education in project management is a plus, we are open to training a motivated individual with the right foundational skills and a keen interest in Virtual Production.
- Experience within the visual effects or film production industry is preferred.
- Must be highly organized with effective task management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable working with Google Suite, Slack, and willing to learn monday.com.
- Experience in Virtual Production, Unreal Engine, and visual effects is a plus.
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
