About Us:

As part of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce Team, you'll play a vital role as the primary point of contact at our Business and Visitor Information Centre. You'll be an ambassador for tourism in our community, sharing remarkable experiences with visitors from all corners of the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of local attractions, events, and services.

· Provide personalized assistance to visitors in person, over the phone, and via email.

· Gather statistical information and maintain accurate records of visitor interactions.

· Assist with roaming services, including driving the Revelstoke Van to designated locations.

· Maintain retail displays and handle transactions with efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Revelstoke and surrounding areas.

· Previous retail experience, including familiarity with systems like Shopify.

· Positive team player who is able to also work independently

· Clean class 5 driver's license.

· Second language considered an asset.

· Ability to lift boxes up to 40 pounds.

· Post secondary education in tourism management is considered an asset but not necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $19.51-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
