Reports to: Executive Director

Summary:

The Visitor Services Specialist at Tourism Terrace plays a pivotal role, providing information and guidance to our guests at the Visitor Centre. This position drives business results in our community, fosters positive relations with our guests and community, and ensures the overall success of the Visitor Centre.

Job Duties:

Customer Service Excellence:

• Provide accurate information to visitors regarding destinations, transportation, accommodations.
• Promote tourism products
• General office duties
• Retail sales
• Assisting the Executive Director and the Visitor Center Manager

Personal Attributes:

• Excellent project management and time management skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Effective communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.

Working Conditions:

• This is a part-time position.

Salary range offered:

• Wage range between $22-$25 depending on experience.
