Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Ensure tables are properly set with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions or concerns
- Process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer requests or concerns
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Wine Education/ Knowledge is a plus
