ABOUT THE ROLE

Reports to the Warehouse Manager, performs deliveries and pick-ups as required by the company while working directly with our warehouse. While in the warehouse you will be assisting with various responsibilities including acceptance of incoming deliveries, barcode scanning, inventory loading on racks and preparing /delivery of outgoing items to client sites.

You will be required to understand sparkAV’s internal processes and be able to follow procedures and completion of all associated paperwork, accurately and on time, provide excellent customer service with both our internal and external customers, must have the ability to maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving:

• Possess a valid G driver’s license in good standing
• Ability to drive Cargo Van and up to 20' Truck would be a benefit
• **Clean driving record**
• Ability to work in a high stress and fast paced environments
• Must have outstanding customer service skills
• Current and up-to-date computer skills – Microsoft Office 365 with intermediate Excel, and various inventory/logistics software programs (such as Smartsheet or Jetbuilt)
• Be detailed oriented and possess ability to solve problems
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule – early starts and late end of day could be required.
• Heavy lifting will be required.

Order Picking (Assist):

• Retrieve goods as detailed on Sales Orders/ packing slips, ensuring that the goods picked are the correct item, from the correct location and in the correct quantity
• Deliver the goods to the appropriate configuration bench or shipping lane
• Retrieve completed goods from the configuration area and deliver to the appropriate staging area, ensuring accuracy of the part number and quantity
• Carry out the appropriate transactions in the ERP system to signify the completion of the picking stage
• Coordinate inventory accuracy and control with Operations Coordinator
• Preparing shipping documents as needed
• Coordination and scheduling of Courier pickup and delivery
• Maintain and manage inventories of stock items, repair parts from acquisition to disposition and provide regular status reports to management
• Plan and coordinate return material authorization (RMA) activities for fielded systems and upgrades
• Prioritizing work based on shipping needs and turnaround times

Material Handling (Assist):warehouse

• Open, close and tape, label boxes, and wrap product as needed
• Stack and unstack product
• Move pallets of product from one location to another, with the use of powered material handling equipment, as directed

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum of 2 years Experience working in a warehouse.
• Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License, a clean driving record, as well as a reliable vehicle.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours to meet commitments (as necessary)

Compensation: $20-25 hr, commensurate with experience
