About the Position:

Canature WaterGroup™ is growing! We are looking to add positions in our warehouse. We are looking for driven, talented, and personable individuals with experience in warehouse production roles as well as shipping.

Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, our warehouse production associates are responsible for the Production and final assembly of water conditioning solutions including water softeners, filters, reverse osmosis systems, and units for commercial applications. This production is set to a quality standard in an assembly line or cell environment while ensuring they are working in a safe and orderly fashion. Our warehouse shipping associates are responsible to ensure that all scheduled orders are picked, packed, checked and processed per approved Company processes.

Production

  • Double check all picked work orders to ensure all items are correct before initiating build of any units.
  • Build all units as per work order requirements advising any discrepancies to management.
  • Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy.
  • Ensure that production requirements and quality standards are met consistently.
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, labeling, banding, and taping.
  • Work cooperatively with the production team and other warehouse teams to meet goals.
  • Will be responsible for quality checking other team members’ orders to ensure accuracy
  • Receive and process shipments
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.

  • Engage and show respect to associates daily, building team morale to drive productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain all equipment and in good condition during any usage and report any issues to management.
  • Keep good housekeeping practices throughout the department. Responsible for day-to-day general cleanup
  • Maintain shipping standards while adhering to Quality Policies and objectives.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
  • Meet and greet customers in a professional manner and assist with order pickup as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the site leadership.
  • Float to other functions within the warehouse to assist team in meeting objectives, learn new tasks and gain knowledge for career growth

Shipping

  • Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers as per QAD pre-shipper document.
  • Pick from correct locations as per QAD pre-shipper document and report any discrepancies of inventory accuracy to management.
  • Review and have orders double checked to determine if they were picked correctly.
  • Skid, band, label, shrink wrap and apply security tape to all single, multiple unit orders as well as larger orders to ensure safe movement and transport of customer LTL orders.
  • Adhere to Shipping procedures and policies to ensure superior customer service, quality and accuracy of all orders.
  • Courier orders are to be picked using picking bins as per QAD pre-shipper document. Items are to be placed on roller system in the shipping area for double check and packaging.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions

About you:

  • 1-3 years experience in a production line or shipping department, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be a team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • Customer Service experience an asset.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong math and reasoning skills
  • Ability to read work orders and requirements for builds
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions in a timely manner
  • Computer experience considered an asset as associates are required to use inventory control equipment such as QAD label printers
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Forklift certification an asset but not required
  • Ability to work overtime on occasion

About the work environment:

Warehouse

  • Able to move/lift to 50 lbs.
  • Able to withstand temperature changes in a typical warehouse environment (heat and cold)
  • Position spends extended amounts of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
  • Position may require climbing of rolling stairs for top-level selection.
  • Able to manipulate small items required for product assembly
