POSITION: Order Checker (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm or 2pm-11pm, Sat 6am-3pm)

Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Checker plays an integral role in the warehouse by checking, organizing product for multi-channel facets of the business. The Checker is a supply chain and logistics professional who is responsible for filling customer orders and packaging them in a manner that meets company standards. The Checker is required to ensure the product is accurately gathered and placed in the appropriate designation in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reading shipping orders to determine quantity, quality and accuracy of items packed.
• Inspect orders to ensure product being shipped and packaged meets the expectations of the consumer
• Responsible for ensuring the product picked is accurate and appropriately packaged and staged
• Follow product selection procedure as established by the company
• Wrap orders when applicable
• Accurately label products
• Responsible for garbage disposal, cardboard recycling, and the disposal of broken
• Report discrepancies and/or damaged goods to the Operations Manager
• Perform general housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
• Complete other tasks, as assigned by management.
• Comply with company, store, and warehouse policies.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and report any observed safety hazards immediately.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous warehouse experience as a Checker / Quality Control
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail/Quality Orientation
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self motivated to drive completion of task accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
