Warehouse Person/Order Picker

The Opportunity

Accountable/responsible for providing a high level of customer service in support of the business of service and parts sales to the market and expediting internal parts service requests while maximizing productivity and proficiency to meet targets

The Role

• Responsible for day-to-day processing of parts orders for internal and external customers, including bin/section organization, checking off incoming stock shipments, and locating parts
• Support service technicians in researching, sourcing, expediting and delivering parts requests to work area
• Covers and/or assists warehouse person in tracking or shipping product to both local and out-of-town customers and inter-branch locations
• Operates in a safe manner and keeps work area clean and tidy at all times

The Candidate

• Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
• WorkExperience:1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience picking and packing orders. Previous experience in heavy duty parts / service industry considered an asset.
• Knowledge:Experience working with parts vendors, outsourcing and generating parts quotes
• Proficiency:Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
