Warehouse Processing Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Processing Specialist in our distribution services company, you will be a key player in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. This role involves processing incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and collaborating with various teams to ensure timely and accurate distribution of products.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing products.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.

Order Processing:

• Receive and process incoming orders, ensuring that items are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and meet delivery commitments.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners for the efficient and cost-effective shipping of products.
• Inspect incoming shipments, verify contents, and document any discrepancies or damages.

Documentation:

• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation for outbound shipments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and use technology such as barcode scanners.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $22.80-$26.90 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
