The Job!

As a Shipper/Receiver reporting directly to the Warehouse Leader, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing items. You will ensure adherence to company guidelines and Occupational Health and Safety Act legislation and support seamless logistics and inventory control, maintaining our commitment to excellence. You will also be responsible for:

• Processing and documenting material orders daily
• Verifying incoming goods, recording shortages, and rejecting damaged items
• Coordinating deliveries and preparing shipments
• Maintaining accurate warehouse inventory records
• Organizing and cleaning the stockroom regularly
• Preparing shipping and receiving reports
• Safely operating forklifts and other equipment
• Coordinating logistics for large shipments
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the job

The ideal candidate comes with experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and prioritizes safety over all. You also come with:

• Proficiency in forklift operation, Forklift license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform physical tasks, and stand for extended periods
• Strong math skills and accuracy in measurements
• Adaptability and openness to cross-training
• Experience in an ISO Certified organization, related clerical roles, or warehouse work preferred
