Warehouse Supervisor

Taiga Building Products — We have a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT opportunity in our Moncton branch for a Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• This person will be responsible for the successful operation of the distribution facility, including but not limited to:
• Actively participate in yard management, production, and training.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures
• Coordination of inbound and outbound material using journey planner and live freight board systems
• Initiate and enforce company policy to maintain the highest safety levels for all employees
• Constantly review existing physical inventory and reconcile using the systems provided
• Optimize available yard staff to maximum efficiency including general housekeeping
• Safeguard warehouse operations by monitoring security procedures
• Interact with customers, truck drivers, and visitors in a positive and friendly manner.

• Forklift experience is an asset
• Lumber or Building Materials experience is an asset

Regular Shift Timing: Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate: Moncton Branch: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
