Innocore™ is a leading manufacturer of disinfectant wipes for the away-from-home market. We have been steadily growing and now have an immediate need for a Warehouse Supervisor at our facility in Woodstock, Ontario.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for working directly with the warehousing team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Oversee the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure high levels of productivity, accuracy, and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
- Resolve any warehouse-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the warehouse operations.
- Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse activities, such as productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving metrics.
- Performing other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, with a minimum of three years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment is required. Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) certification is an asset.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
